Donations With A Difference (DWAD) is a charitable grant-making trust (registered charity no. 1157927). We run quizzes, competitions, golf and football tournaments, and other events to raise money to fund grants that support physical and mental health, and education. In 2016 we increased our fundraising by 43% and paid out over £13,000. With your help, we aim to be able to fund in excess of £20,000 in grants in 2017.
Govind Nambier from Crayford was born with Diplegic Cerebral Palsy, which resulted in him having no use of his lower limbs. His condition improved slowly and after an operation when he was five, managed to walk with a Kaye walker frame. Since then, Govind has progressed to walking with normal sticks. He has another 8 operations planned while he is growing, to enable his mobility to improve.
